Healthy Communities

Access to health facilities and health education is inadequate in rural areas. Reproductive health care education is not standard in Ghana, remarkably impacting adolescent females. Poor health and well-being further exacerbate current inequalities and severely affect long-term prosperity.

Since we began operating, we have made public health and the promotion of healthy lifestyles central to our work. We have approached this issue holistically through our partners.

Through our programmes, adolescent girls and boys have access to sexual reproductive healthcare and materials, all families have handwashing stations and appropriate education on hand hygiene, and all school children and young adults have the opportunity to play organised sports.
