NAF is looking for volunteers who are genuinely interested in working with us on improving the situation of underprivileged kids. Volunteering with NAF is also an excellent opportunity to experience Ghanaian living. We’ve set basic rules to ensure the success of our projects, positive impact on the local community and comfort of our volunteers. Ghanaian Volunteers can find their forms here.
Requirements
Nana Aframea Foundation welcomes volunteers from all over the world. We are happy to host people of different nationalities, sexes, backgrounds, and ages. However, we have basic requirements to ensure your comfort during your stay with NAF.
- You agree to work on NAF projects 15 hours per week.
- You must be over 18 years old.
- You need to be healthy enough to travel to Ghana and to stay in tropical climate. You must have valid yellow fever vaccination (proof required when entering Ghana).
- You need to have travel health insurance.
- You need to get Ghanaian visa on your own.
- You need to cover your travel expenses (flight tickets to Ghana, etc.)
- You agree to pay NAF small weekly fee to cover cost of your accommodation, food and drinks.
- You will respect local customs and the way of living.
- You will maintain positive attitude and enjoy your stay
